Twist the Gist is a creative storytelling event where participants craft compelling narratives based on given starting and ending prompts within a fixed time limit.
This event celebrates originality, imagination, and the art of storytelling, providing students with a platform to showcase their literary talent and connect with fellow book enthusiasts.
Rounds
Writing Phase: Participants create an original story within 20 minutes using the provided prompts.
Presentation Phase: Each participant presents their story within a 2-minute time limit.
Prizes
Prize pool worth ₹12,000+
Winners will receive exciting rewards and recognition for creativity and storytelling excellence.
Rules and Regulations
- All submissions must be original; plagiarism will result in immediate disqualification.
- Strict adherence to the 20-minute writing and 2-minute presentation limits is mandatory.
- Use of mobile phones, laptops, tablets, or any external devices is strictly prohibited.
- Any form of cheating or external assistance is not allowed.
- Participants must maintain respectful conduct towards judges, organizers, and fellow competitors.
- Disruptive behavior may lead to disqualification.
